About a minute into my presentation I noticed that Primary Pad wasn't working, so I couldn't share everything that I'd wanted to in my presentation. On closer inspection of the primary pad blog it appeared that it wasn't working with internet explorer. If only I had brought my laptop in today (I use google chrome, which is why I didn't spot it). So I decided to fight fire with fire and rerecord my presentation for prosterity using jing. This like much of my project was a new experience for me and I found it strangely intimidating, talking to myself in my front room. I also could only record 5 minutes with the free version, so here's what I would of said at the end:
After I had finished using primary pad I put the stories onto a blog and invited comments. This turned out to be the best part of the project and I recommend that everyone tries using a blog for feedback. The children found the experience of people reading their stories really motivating and I got alot more feedback than I would be able to write about each story on my own. It would of been great to have developed this further and used the comments to inform next part of the story. Next time!
